The upgrade

Keep the Pro Line 21 EFIS. Add WAAS GPS, RNP, and CPDLC readiness through a Garmin GTN Xi integration — panel-mount GTN 725Xi or console-mount GTN 625Xi, with remote GDR 66 and GDL 69 as the installation requires.

The path is an FAA AML STC covering Pro Line 21 King Air models. Custom U1808 interface adapters from Cannan Avionics replace FMS cards rather than the whole flight deck.
